Intrusion detection based on fuzzy logic for wireless body area networks: review and proposition

Wireless body area networks (WBANs) are very helpful for monitoring the patient’s case, due to medical sensors. However, this technology faces several problems such as loss communication, security issues and energy consumption. Our work focused on specifically intrusion detection system (IDS), which is one of most effective techniques used identify presence intrusions in a network. To make IDS more efficient, fuzzy logic (FL) well-known that known its powerful mechanism differentiate network traffic levels. In paper, we start present an overview FL functionality. Moreover, give survey recent works dealing based wireless sensor classify them different measures. Hence, our comparative study researchers, understand use have clear vision developing their own solution. second part, develop novel Mamdani type inference detecting jamming attacks WBAN. was built Matlab, also Castalia platform OMNET++ simulator simulate scenarios
